Final Checklist for a Smooth, Hassle-Free Move
To ensure your move goes smoothly and safely, please have everything fully prepared before our movers arrive. A little planning makes a big difference.
📦 1. Pack Everything Beforehand
All items must be packed into boxes or bags — no loose or unpacked items.
Small, miscellaneous, or fragile items should not be left out.
Clearly label fragile boxes and pack them securely.
❗ Loose items slow down the move and increase the risk of damage.
🛠️ 2. Dismantle Beds and Large Furniture
Please disassemble beds, tables, or large furniture items before moving day.
Place screws or small parts in labeled bags and attach them to the furniture.
❄️ 3. Prepare Fridge and Appliances
Empty, defrost, and switch off your fridge/freezer at least 12 hours before the move.
Unplug and drain washing machines, dishwashers, and any other appliances.
🚛 4. Parking and Access
Guide the movers on where to park when they arrive.
Make sure driveways are clear and accessible for a large truck.
If you live in an apartment or gated area, arrange access or parking permits in advance.
Let us know if there are any stairs, narrow entrances, or other restrictions.

For everyone’s safety, please keep pets and young children away from the moving area during the move.
If possible, arrange for them to stay with a friend, family member, or in a secure room.
📞 6. Inform Us About Special Items or Restrictions
If you have heavy, oversized, or delicate items like a piano or safe, please let us know in advance.
Inform us about any access challenges at pickup or drop-off.
